Experience the Unique Culture and Adventure of Bhutan

Nestled in the Eastern region of the Himalayas, Bhutan is a small country referred to as Druk Yul (Land of the Thunder Dragon). Bhutan is the Himalayan Kingdom with myths and legends, where the best of traditional culture can be experienced.

Tourism in Bhutan is unique and the Bhutanese pride themselves on a sustainable, and eco-friendly approach in line with the country’s popular philosophy of Gross National Happiness prioritizing the well-being of its people over material wealth.

Bhutan’s pristine beauty makes it a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers. From snow-capped mountains and lush valleys to dense forests and winding rivers, its diverse geography offers incredible opportunities for trekking, birdwatching, and eco-tourism.

The country's rich traditions are reflected in its majestic dzongs (fortresses), sacred monasteries, and vibrant Tshechus(festivals). Bhutanese people take pride in their cultural heritage, wearing their traditional attire—the Gho for men and the Kira for women—as a symbol of their identity.

Its unique development model, based on Gross National Happiness, ensures a balance between economic progress, cultural preservation, and environmental conservation.
